General chemical quality of ground
water in the shallow aquifer in the State is presented in
the following maps. Ground water samples, collected
from a network of selected wells tapping shallow aquifer, are analysed
in the chemical laboratory of CGWB at Hyderabad. The samples
are generally collected during the pre-monsoon period of every
year.
