R & D Studies

Central Ground Water Board is assisting the Ministry of Water Resources in the form of a Indian National Committee on Ground Water (INCGW), with a view to accelerate the research and development programme in ground water sector and giving due consideration to increased need of taking up research in the filed of ground water. This INCGW is headed by Chairman of CGWB and assisted by members with Dr Uma Kapoor, Scientist D of CGWB as Member Secretary. This Committee examines the project proposals received in the field of Ground water for their suitability for funding by MoWR and also monitors the progress of ongoing research schemes.
